Constipation is an acute or chronic condition in which bowel movements occur less often than usual or consist of hard, dry stools that are painful or difficult to pass. Bowel habits vary, but an adult who has not had a bowel movement in three days or a child who has not had a bowel movement in four days is considered constipated.

Causes:

  • Anal fissure (a tear or crack in the lining of the anus).
  • Chronic kidney failure.
  • Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid gland).

Symptoms:

  • Headache.
  • Swollen abdomen.
  • Pass rock-like feces.

Diagnosis:

  • Constipation is generally diagnosed to routine blood, urine, and stool tests, a sigmoidoscopy may help detect problems in the rectum and lower colon and also maybe taken to check for thyroid disorders.

Ingredients:

  1. Kenaf leaves.

Natural Remedies:

  • Although kenaf is usually considered a fiber crop, the entire kenaf plant, stalk (core and bark), and leaves, can be used as a livestock feed. Research indicates that it has high protein content.Crude protein in kenaf leaves ranged from 14% to 34%, stalk crude protein ranged from 2% to 12% and whole-plant crude protein ranged from 6% to 23%. It has also been determined that chopped kenaf (29% dry matter, 15.5% crude protein, and 25% acid detergent fiber) is a suitable feed source for Spanish (meat-type) goats.

Take kenaf leaves, cook and take with your food often, will reduce the constipation problem.
